【經濟日報╱記者黃晶琳】 衛星通訊廠3月營收，除百一（6152）明顯成長，台揚月增率也達27%，啟碁月增17%，第二季雖為傳統淡季，但受惠STB（電視機上盒）出貨帶動，兆赫預估，第二季可望季增一成，啟碁則認為，今年第二季淡季不淡。 觀察衛星通訊族群，第一季營收以百一表現最亮眼，致振較去年也有小幅成長，其他台揚、啟碁、兆赫單季營收，都較去年同期衰退二成到三成左右。 台揚3月營收來到5.41億元，月增率27%，啟碁3月營收14.61億元，月增率17.72%，都有明顯回溫。 往年第二季為衛星通訊廠商淡季，依過去經驗營收都會比第一季衰退一成，有的公司淡季衰退幅度更達二成。 不過今年業者普遍反應，第一季受全球經濟景氣影響，因此第一季營收表現偏淡，第二季客戶反而有補貨跡象，預期第二季可望有淡季不淡表現，營收可望維持第一季甚至有小幅成長。 兆赫表示，第二季LNB（低雜訊降頻器）沒有明顯淡季，訂單仍維持一定水準，而STB 則受惠新訂單開始出貨，歐洲及南美洲新客戶第一季開始出貨，第二季可望持續增溫，目前訂單能見度看到4到5月，預估第二季營收可望較第一季成長。 啟碁第一季營收較第四季衰退二成以上，啟碁表示，今年第二季淡季表現不明顯，預估單季營收仍有機會維持第一季水準，甚至小幅回溫。 此外，近期啟碁大客戶SIRIUS XM整合上軌道，今年系列新產品也將於第三季正式推出，啟碁成為主要供應商，新客戶產品將於第二季末開始出貨，第三季出貨量可望明顯放大。 啟碁LNB（低雜訊降頻器）大客戶Direct TV也有不錯表現，今年啟碁來自Direct TV出貨量跟營收都會成長，此外，啟碁NB天線已為全球市占率第一，更切入小筆電市場，未來靠提升市占率帶動成長。

	GMail Drive shell extension GMail Drive is a Shell Namespace Extension that creates a virtual filesystem around your Google Mail account, allowing you to use Gmail as a storage medium. GMail Drive creates a virtual filesystem on top of your Google Gmail account and enables you to save and retrieve files stored on your Gmail account directly from inside Windows Explorer. GMail Drive literally adds a new drive to your computer under the My Computer folder, where you can create new folders, copy and drag'n'drop files to. Ever since Google started to offer users a Gmail e-mail account, which includes storage space of 6000 megabytes, you have had plenty of storage space but not a lot to fill it up with. With GMail Drive you can easily copy files to your Google Mail Account and retrieve them again. When you create a new file using GMail Drive, it generates an e-mail and posts it to your account. The e-mail appears in your normal Inbox folder, and the file is attached as an e-mail attachment. GMail Drive periodically checks your mail account (using the Gmail search function) to see if new files have arrived and to rebuild the directory structures. But basically GMail Drive acts as any other hard-drive installed on your computer. You can copy files to and from the GMail Drive folder simply by using drag'n'drop like you're used to with the normal Explorer folders. Because the Gmail files will clutter up your Inbox folder, you may wish to create a filter in Gmail to automatically move the files (prefixed with the GMAILFS letters in the subject) to your archived mail folder. Please note that GMail Drive is still an experimental tool. There's still a number of limitations of the file-system (such as total filename size must be less than 65 characters). Since the tool hooks up with the free Gmail Service provided by Google, changes in the Gmail system may break the tool's ability to function. I cannot guarantee that files stored in this manner will be accessible in the future. 16 March 2007 update: A change in the Gmail.com login cause an empty filelist. Download the latest version to access files again. Version 1.0.11 also includes a lot of Windows Vista fixes. 8 Nov 2007 update: Google is preparing for Gmail 2.0 and restructured their login. They will allow 3rd party tools to access an interim version for some time, but be prepared that GMail Drive may need to be updated again soon. Version 1.0.12 fixes the login, and now works with Google Apps accounts (hosted domains) too. 9 Jul 2008 update: A new version was released since some users complained that they had problems with login; please install the latest version 1.0.13 and reboot Windows. GMail Drive is a Shell Namespace Extension that creates a virtual drive in the Windows Explorer, allowing you to use your Google Mail account as a storage medium.

It allows you to do basic file manipulation, such as copy and delete, on files inside the GMail folder. Because it is a Shell Extension, the interface you work in is Windows Explorer itself.

GMail files are physically stored as e-mails on your Google Mail account. The files are stored in mail attachments, and the filename and file information (such as filesize) is stored in the message subject line.

GMail Drive has already been installed on your computer. All you need to do now, is to browse to the GMail Drive entry under your My Computer folder in the Windows Explorer.
